The Geelong Region SBAT TASK Force Group was established in 2005 by a group of vested interest SBAT Stakeholders who wanted to establish a regular resource and communication forum for all parties involved in the establishment, conduct and day to day delivery of SBAT’s in the Geelong Region. Meetings are held every third Thursday per month at various volunteered SBAT Stakeholder locations around Geelong.
Our Group stakeholder members comprise, Geelong Region Secondary Schools, DET and Head Start personnel, Registered Training Organizations (RTO’S) , Group Training Organizations, Employers, Employer Groups/Associations, Apprenticeship Network Providers as well as any other parties interested in the development and promotion of SBAT’s in the Geelong School Region.
Our principal aims are to provide a regular forum to promote and market SBAT opportunities in addition to offering advice and service in the development and management of timely and accurate student reporting processes and policies. This ensures that all SBAT Stakeholders benefit from their direct input and participation in all relevant aspects of the conduct and satisfactory delivery of all respective SBAT programs.
